Forsaken Legion is a black metal band based in Lugano, Switzerland, known for its sharp compositional identity and fierce, evocative sound. Founded in 2012, the group blends aggressive riffs and shifting rhythms to create a dynamic, tormented atmosphere shaped by the genre’s foundational works, while maintaining a distinct and personal creative voice.

The band’s name evokes the image of forsaken warriors engaged in eternal, mythic struggle. Lyrically, Forsaken Legion draws from currents in contemporary philosophy—particularly nihilism and existentialism—crafting aggressive narratives that convey a sense of perpetual conflict. Through this approach, the band offers dense, hermetic content that challenges interpretation and resists resolution.

Their debut Seeds of Black Dawn (2013) and follow-up Bloodline (2019) were both produced by Krasta Records and distributed via Bergstolz, establishing the band’s presence in the underground scene. In addition to their studio work, Forsaken Legion has brought their live presence to audiences, performing in venues and festivals throughout Europe. Their first tour led them through several Eastern European Countries and marked a significant step in expanding their influence in the underground scenario. Their live presence is characterized by intensity, precision, and a commitment to their artistic vision.

The band is currently finalizing its third full-length release.
